As you mentioned that you hope we have a better site than this eventually, I'd like to just throw out there that I'm a graphic designer and absolutely loved working my WoW Alliance guild's website. Updating it and doing minor flash intros for holidays, etc etc.

If no one else is interesting on jumping on it and making a specialized site, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

(Can also do fraps videos... which always adds an edge of coolness to a guild site and popularity. Examples are on the website below in the Gallery section or on YouTube under "Villains Requiem". )

Thank you for the compliments on the VR website. I loved managing and designing it. Was a hobby that I've greatly hated giving up with the guild halting do to bad RL luck for some and great for others.

Cronos, just let me know if you get a domain and what you want for guild colors, "feel", etc and I'll start playing with designs. *smiles* Also know some great board systems if you don't want to stick with this one. Cronos, do you have Paypal? If its easier, I can set it all up, manage it and all that good stuff. My previous guild, VR doesn't need their webspace anymore so I can convert that site's information to Damnation's and we can purchase a new domain name for it. If it would be easier for you, I can give you my Paypal email and you can just send me the money, then I'll pay for the domain name on my already existing account with GoDaddy.

I'm trust worthy to pay for it and the domain won't cost you anything more than $15, if that. I'm more than willing to pay for the $3.99 monthly website fee myself, since I'm already doing so and would love to keep the information I already have saved on it.

If that's really confusing... then I can give you my phone number to call and we can talk about it. *smiles* Its a cell and thus anytime you're available to discuss it, works for me.


As to the .com vs .org ... it doesn't matter a huge difference but I've always preferred .com-s. As they are the universal guess when someone is trying to type a website. Example: "Hey you know that store in the mall we love?? What was their website again? Huh, I don't know either. Here let me try Gamestop.com"

People will try multiple variations of the name before changing the .com to .net or .org in most cases.
